The MAX Fitness and Wellness Center of Cranford is excited to announce a new chapter in its journey with new owners, Carrie and Patrick Dyrness. As longtime proud members of the MAX community, the Dyrnesses are eager to impact members’ lives at the MAX of Cranford.
Carrie Dyrness began her MAX journey in 2014 at The MAX of Old Bridge, seeking a supportive environment to prioritize her health while juggling a demanding career in New York City. What started as a leap of faith soon became a life-changing experience. The program had such an impact on Carrie she eventually got MAX Instructor Certified.
Patrick Dyrness joined The MAX of Edison in 2015, motivated by a goal to reset his lifestyle. Unlike other gyms and bootcamps he had tried, The MAX stood out for its proven results, accessible nutrition program, and motivating power talks that fostered both physical and mental transformation.
“The MAX has impacted our lives in unimaginable ways,” said Carrie and Patrick. “The support, motivation, and community we found here is unlike anything else. After a decade of being part of this program, the MAX will always be a place to reset and refocus through every phase of life.”
Their decision to become franchise owners was fueled by their deep passion for the program and a desire to pay it forward. “Part of it was our love and passion for The MAX,” they said, “but just as important was the opportunity to give others what this program has given to us. Combined with our business backgrounds, this was the perfect formula.”
Carrie brings years of high-level marketing experience as a former Senior Director of Marketing at Macy’s, while Patrick currently serves as Regional Environmental, Health and Safety Manager at Dawn Foods. Together, they are committed to making The MAX of Cranford the best part of every member’s day.
“Our goal is simple: to ensure The MAX of Cranford remains a welcoming, fun, and inspiring center. We are here to build on the values and traditions that make this community thrive while introducing new ways to support our members’ health and wellness journeys.”
