“I had a conversation  with someone, telling them about my progress and how proud I am to help others teach new moves on abs and such, to which they replied, “well, you need abs to be the ab person”…let me tell you something….
I am a legacy member of the MAX fitness! I bust my butt every night 5 days a week giving everything I have! Since October 1st of 2012 I have lost over 20 lbs because of it! Not only that, I grew into a motivator, a leader! That someone, that screams in your ear “YOU’RE NOT FINISHED!!” is me, because I see potential in other members doing better, to push ME to do better!
For this last week, I have been helping out members after class with the “last chance abs” (if you will). At the end, they say to me…thanks Sam! Good workout!
For anyone who has had someone tell them “no way”..please..DO NOT let ANYONE tell you any stupid stereotypical stuff about what you can or cannot do….ANYONE can achieve ir heart and souls to! I am proof!
I grew up with asthma that turned into chronic asthma, developed joint problems in my knees, continuously have bad back issues, and got lazy and got up to almost 150 lbs size 10-13 pants. I stand PROUD at 127 lbs in a size 4-6! My trainers Albert and Jay, I give all of my props to them, because without Alberts goofiness and Jay screaming in my ear when my knees “god for bid” touch the floor “GET IT UP!!” I would not be where I am today! So thank you Albert Hermans and Jay Troshane for giving me back my strength, the air I breathe in much better, and most importantly, thanks for getting me back into my jeans!! thank you for believing in all of us!
So for that comment that was said to me…I’d like to see how long you can hold plank for, how many crunches you can do in 30 seconds, how long you can keep your feet up 6 inches off the ground!!
I don’t workout to show off cuts and build, I workout to be healthier and stronger then ever before!ANYTHING they put their heart and souls into! I am proof!
