Rosanna’s Philly “No Cheese” Steak Stuffed Peppers

Yields 4 half peppers

2 half peppers is eqivalent to 1 protein


1 pkg cube steak

1 vidalia onion

2 bell peppers

1 tbs Olive oil



Garlic powder



Cut the peppers in half and lay them on a cookie sheet sprayed with non stick cooking spray

Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder (eyeball it to your preference)

Stick them in a 350 deg oven

While the peppers are in the oven, slice your vidalia onion and caramelize it, meaning keep the onions over low heat in a pan with olive oil until they become light brown and soft, approximately 10-15 minutes.

Remove your onions from the pan and turn the heat up to medium high.

Slice your cubed steak horizontally  and place in the same pan, season it with salt, pepper and garlic powder, cook until meat is browned yet slightly pink, approximately 5 minutes.

Turn off the heat and toss your onions back in the pan and combine with your cubed steak slices.

Remove the peppers from the oven and disperse the meat/onions into the 4 peppers

Place the peppers back into the oven for 5 more minutes and they’re done!
